Close on the heels of Galaxy On7 2016, that launched in China this week, Samsung might soon introduce the Galaxy On8 in India, exclusively on Flipkart.
Flipkart has been teasing the phone with #TheNexyON and #OnlyOnFlipkart on Social media channels, which makes it amply clear that the Galaxy On8 will retail exclusively on the e-commerce store. Also, the dedicated page for the upcoming ‘ON phone’ divulges that the phone has 3GB RAM and “Long lasting battery backup”.
The upcoming Galaxy On8 will also have a Super AMOLED display with 1980 x 1080p Full HD resolution. Samsung specializes in AMOLED display tech, and crisp OLED panel from the Samsung in budget price range is definitely worth being excited about.
We still don’t have the full picture here, but since Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sales official page lists Samsung Galaxy On8 under “Special thanks to our partners” section, we can expect full details to be out next week.
Samsung Galaxy On7 2016 that was recently launched in China last week comes with a TFT display panel, and the Galaxy On8 will be the first On series handset to flaunt an AMOLED screen. We won’t be surprised if Samsung throws a Fingerprint sensor in the mix as well.
