After launching Galaxy S6 Edge+ last month, Samsung has today launched its Galaxy Note 5 at an event in New Delhi, India. This smartphone was earlier launched in New York last month. It will be available in 32GB and 64GB storage variant for a high end price of 53,900 INR and 59,900 INR respectively.
Galaxy Note 5 flaunts a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is assisted by 64 bit Octa Core Exynos 7420 processor (four cores clocked at 2.1 GHz and other four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz) paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB or 64GB of faste UFC 2.0 flash storage. Samsung has ditched storage expansion slots in Note 5 as well.
Galaxy Note 5 sports a 16 MP rear camera with LED flash, OIS, f/1.9 aperture and is capable of 4K video recording. It also packs a 5 MP front facing sensor with f/1.9 aperture to capture more in each selfie frame. This smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
It is clubbed with 3000 mAh battery with fast charging via wired or wireless charger. Users can fully charge their Note 5 in just 90 minutes using wired charger and in just 120 minutes through wireless charger.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also comes with heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner built in the home button. It has a improved S Pen which needs one click to eject from main body casing. Users can also jot down notes with the display turned off (and locked).

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be rolling out starting from 20th September 2015 and will be available for pre-orders starting from today onwards. It comes in three color variants including Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium. Galaxy Note 5 32GB variant will be priced at 53,900 INR and 64GB variant will be available at 59,900 INR.
