Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G, Galaxy Grand Prime 4G and Galaxy J1 4G Smartphones Launched in India

Samsung has extended its 4G series with the launch of its three new smartphones- Galaxy Core Prime 4G, Galaxy Grand Prime 4G and Galaxy J1 4G at Samsung Forum 2015 in Thailand on Monday.  All these 4G models will be available in India by second week of March 2015 starting from 9900 INR.

Galaxy Core Prime 4G, Galaxy Grand Prime 4G and Galaxy J1 4G come with TDD- LTE 4G support in India and 3G variants of all these models are already available in the market. With the launch of these three 4G variants which are running Android 4.4 KitKat OS, Samsung has nine 4G devices available in the market.

Galaxy Core Prime 4G

Galaxy Core Prime 4G features a 4.5 inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) PLS TFT display and powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor assisted by 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of ROM and an expansion slot for micro SD card support (up to 64 GB).

Galaxy Core Prime 4G includes a 5 MP auto focus camera with LED flash, 2 MP shooter upfront and a 2000 mAh battery inside. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Micro USB port and dual SIM functionality.

Galaxy Grand Prime 4G incorporates a 5 inch qHD (960×540 pixels) TFT display and fired by 1.2 GHz quad core processor backed by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded by up to 64 GB using Micro SD card.

Galaxy Grand Prime 4G features an 8 MP auto focus rear camera and a 5 MP camera at front for selfie fans and video calling. It also houses a 2600 mAh battery inside. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Micro USB port and dual SIM functionality.

Galaxy J1 4G comes with 4.3 inch PLS TFT display with WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels. It is equipped with 1.2 GHz quad core CPU paired with 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM which is expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD card.

Galaxy J1 4G sports a 5 MP rear auto focus camera with LED flash and a 2 MP camera at front for video calls and selfie clicks. It also has a 1850 mAh battery inside with unspecified talk time and standby time. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Micro USB 2.0 port and dual SIM functionality.

Galaxy Grand Prime 4G is available in White and Grey colours, Galaxy Core Prime 4G comes in White, Silver and Charcoal Grey and Galaxy J1 is available in blue, black and white.

All these 4G models will be available in India from the second week of March 2015 starting for Rs. 9900.
