Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on September 17, 2014 announced the launch of Samsung Club 2.0. This Samsung Club 2.0 is a digital entertainment store for different mobile form factors providing music, movies, videos & mobile TV under its MSC (Media Solutions Center) division.
Consumers can access the multimedia content in multiple languages including movies, videos and mobile TV and audio tracks. The application with its intuitive interface provides easy access to content even in an offline mode for a seamless user experience. Samsung 2.0 account sign-on allows personalization that customers create in terms of favorites, playlists & their preferences through explicit & implicit profiling; all travel to any device the customer signs-in using their Samsung account, up to 5 devices.
Samsung’s Discovery feature which has also been included in this application, uses their intelligent algorithm to recommend content according to mood, era, language or genre and auto updates the playlist when fresh content is added to the store. Club Samsung supports content in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati.
Club Samsung 2.0 comes with a unified player for all offline and online content. Club Samsung’s new media player allows multi-tasking such as synchronous browsing, social sharing, comments, provides recommendations & supports minimized version for both Audio and Video formats according to bandwidth.
Club Samsung 2.0 is compatible with14 Samsung devices currently scaling to 33 devices in a few months. It will be available for download starting Sept 30th 2014 from Galaxy App Store.
