Razer has today unveiled its much awaited and premium gaming smartphone called Razer Phone in London. It will be available for USD 699.99 from November 17 onwards in North America and Europe and pre-orders have started today.
The Razer Phone comes with 5.72 inch Quad HD IGZO LCD 120Hz UltraMotion display with the resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It is powered by octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with Adreno 540 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
There is 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded by up to another 2TB via microSD card slot. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS which is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo OS. It is packed with massive 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ and also sports a fingerprint scanner embedded in its home button.
On the camera section, Razer Phone packs dual rear camera setup which includes 12 MP primary rear camera with f/1.75 aperture and wide angle lens and a 13 MP secondary rear camera with the aperture of f/2.6, dual tone LED flash light and PDAF. It also employs an 8 MP frontal sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
Razer has joined hands with Square Enix and some other companies to offer great games with this phone to their customers. It also comes with stereo speakers at front with Dolby Atmos surround sound. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and NFC.
