Phicomm has today officially introduced Energy 2 E670 in India, which is 4G LTE enabled successor of Phicomm Energy 653, that was launched last year. The new Energy 2 E670 will be available for 5,499 INR exclusively on Indian e-commerce portal Snapdeal.
Phicomm Energy 2 E670 includes a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution and is powered by 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor with Adreno 304 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 64GB with microSD card support. Software is customized Android 5.1 Lollipop.
For photography, there is 8MP Auto Focus Camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture lens and 2MP front facing camera. It is a dual SIM handset and connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The handset is 8 mm thick and houses a 2300 mAh battery.
Phicomm Energy 2 E670 includes a generic set of hardware, which isn’t exactly impressive or exciting, but again its hard to complain at this price. Just 12 months back, a 2GB RAM or similar specced phone under 10K used to be mouth watering to say the least.
Announcing the launch Mr. Steve Wang – GM Phicomm India, said “We are excited to announce the stylist new E 670 with Snapdeal. We are confident that our association with Snapdeal will enable us to reach out to a wider audience, making 4G smartphones a reality for everyone.
Phicomm remains committed to providing the Indian customer with quality & technology rich 4G smart phones at exciting price points. Soon, they are also in the process of taking it to a different level where-in we will be targeting Tier 2 cities as well”
