Panasonic P55 Nova with Univeral Remote Launched at 9,290 INR

Panasonic introduced its new smartphone to its P series- P55 Novo with smart remote functionality for Rs. 9,290 INR. It will be available in three colors from the first week of July 2015. This new phablet will play successor to the previously launched P55 smartphone in India which was priced at 10,290 INR.

With the help of Peel Smart Remote app, you can use your smartphone as universal remote for all electronic equipments like TV, AC, Refrigerator, Set top box, Music system, etc.

P55 Novo features a 5.3 inch display with the resolution of 720X1280 pixels. It is equipped with True Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz paired with 1 GB of Ram, 8 GB of inbuilt storage and an expansion slot for Micro SD card (up to 32 GB).

On the photography front, P55 Novo is fitted with a 13 MP rear camera with triple LED flash to capture great pictures even in low light conditions and also includes a 5 MP front shooter with LED flash for better low light selfies. It houses a 2500 mAh with unspecified talk time or standby time.

P55 Novo is running Android 4.4 KitKat OS which is slightly dated in present times and changes of lollipop update are slim. Connectivity features include EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / A-GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro USB port and dual SIM functionality

With the new smartphone, we are here to to offer a new dimension wherein the model has been specially designed to provide easy accessibility to consumers looking for a single app to control all home devices.”

Panasonic P55 will be available in Champagne Gold, Smoke Gray and Midnight Blue colors, starting this week. The main highlights are IR blaster and LED flash, while other hardware is average at best.
