Panasonic India has launched its latest smartphone or rather phablet, P55 at a price of Rs 10,290. This is the latest addition to the Panasonics’s phablet line-up and features a 5.5 inch IPS HD display and a 1.2GHz quad core processor. The device has got a 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4.2. P55 sports a 8 MP auto flash LED Camera and a 2 MP front camera. Apart from this, the device have a powerful battery which is 2500 mAh and a 4GB inbuilt storage. It offers expandable memory up to 32GB.
The P55 comes with a ‘Tap Play’ feature in which the device has an in-built capability to recognise touch while it in sleep mode. By using this feature a user can just double tap the screen to wake the device instead of pressing the power button again and again. Similarly, it can be returned to sleep mode with the same gesture of double tap. A user can also directly launch the app just by drawing a gesture as it supports gesture play.
