Panasonic Eluga Ray Max, Eluga Ray X launched in India with ‘Arbo’ Virtual Assistant

Panasonic has launched two new smartphones in India in the medium price segment starting at Rs. 8,999. The Panasonic Eluga Ray X starts at Rs. 8,999 while the Eluga Ray Max has two variants. The 32GB version of Eluga Ray Max is priced at Rs. 11,499 while the 64GB version comes at a price of Rs. 12,499. Panasonic has launched these phones with their new artificial intelligence virtual assistant called Arbo. 

Arbo has been developed by Panasonic and it learns from the usage pattern of the user and helps the user to make the phone experience better. The AI is also able to take care of the user’s daily tasks and activities including calls, messages etc. automatically.

Talking about the smartphones, the Eluga Ray Max has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display is protected using Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM. You get two storage options of 32GB and 64GB which can be expanded further up to 128GB using microSD card. Talking about imaging, the phone sports a 16-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front camera which comes with a selfie flash. The smartphone also has a fingerprint scanner. The phone is powered using a 3,000mAh battery and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Eluga Ray X on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 processor which comes with 3GB RAM. The phone has 32GB of internal storage and the storage is expandable using a microSD card. The Eluga Ray X has a 4,000mAh battery to power everything. The phone has a 13-megapixel primary camera and the front camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash. The phone supports 4G VoLTE and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
