Panasonic today brings a new 4G enabled smartphone to Eluga series- the Eluga A2 in India. It comes with brush-metallic design and is available in Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver color variants with the price tag of Rs. 9,490.
Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “With a fast moving life, customer expectation is to move from 3G to 4G, low RAM to higher capacity RAM and larger battery capacity to a battery sustaining for a day without charge. With ELUGA A2, we aim to deliver maximum experience to our customers with a phone packed with features. Our new smartphone is a 4G VoLTE device with 3GB RAM & 4000mAh battery, thus, providing a better solution to consumers who want long operational hours on a 4G VoLTE.”
Eluga A2 features a 5 inch HD IPS display and is handled by 1 GHz quad core processor with unspecified chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM and an expansion slot for microSD card which supports up to another 128GB using microSD card slot.
Eluga A2 sports an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing shooter to capture selfies. This dual SIM handset has a 4G connectivity. Eluga A2 is backed by lightweight 4000mAh battery and runs on Panasonic Fit Home UI which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Eluga A2 measures 143.8mm x 72mm x 8.9mm and weighs 167 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GRPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB port, dual SIM functionality and 3.5mm audio jack.
