OPPO Find 7 and Find 7a launched in India

OPPO Mobiles the premium chinese smartphone manufacturer launched the newly announced OPPO Find 7 and the OPPO Find 7a in India on June 11, 2014. The launch was dedicated for their latest flagship of the year 2014 ‘Find 7’ to the successor of their ‘Find’ series handsets. Along with the launch of their flagship ‘Find 7’, OPPO also launched the ‘Find 7a’ which is a cheaper, a shorter feature list and at a lesser price point.

The OPPO Find 7 features the first of its kind Quad HD Display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution and 538ppi in a 5.5-inch form screen size. OPPO being known as investing in the best hardware available keeping them out of other chinese players in the smartphone league, the Find 7 too features top notch specifications. It comes with a Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and gives an ability to expand up to 128GB of memory.

It comes with VOOC fast charging technology which enables up to 2hours of calling on a 5min charge. Giving better statistics, 30 min charge can hike the battery percentage from 7 to 75. The smartphone runs on ColorOS, the properietary operating system based on Android.

It is the world’s first smartphone to feature IMX214 CMOS sensor from Sony and a wide f/2.0 aperture not only providing latest stacks but also an efficient camera module for its 13MP rear shooter.

Pricing and Availability

The OPPO Find 7 and the Find 7a will be available for Rs. 37,990 and Rs. 31,990 respectively in 12 major cities in the country namely, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Pune and Lucknow. OPPO announced plans for an aggressive sales and service network expansion in India with a target of over 200 service centers in the next one year.
