When it comes to smartphones in India, Oppo has always kept itself in a different league by not joining the gang of flash sale players like Yu, Lenovo and others. Their smartphones have been readily available in the offline retail stores and online websites which are a really nice thing. But they lost many good opportunities in India to gain
But they lost many good opportunities in India to gain a considerable amount of market share last year due to their dormant marketing strategies. But Oppo has once again risen to claim their name and grab a big market share in India and world by launching some really nice smartphones and also by improving their marketing techniques.
Anyway, today Oppo launched their new smartphone i.e. Oppo F1 which is their mid range phone that comes with its camera as the main flagship feature. Priced at Rs. 15,990 for the normal version, Oppo F1 might seem a bit overpriced at first (and I personally feel it is), but looking at the total research and development that Oppo has put into this phone. Let us take a look at the specifications of this device to see what this phone has to offer when it comes to tech specs.

Oppo F1 First Impressions
The phone is beautiful to look at and feels really good to hold. The materials used to build the phone are top notch and give the phone an amazing feel that it proudly sports. The screen, even though it is 720p, is clear and share and is good to provide a decent battery life on the 2500 mAh Li-Po battery. The battery is the weakest point of the phone if not the price but the 720p screen makes sure the screen does not take up most of your battery.
The cameras on the phone perform exceptionally well and the images takes are clear and sharp with detailed colors and they have to be since Camera is the main selling point of the phone. The phone runs on ColorOS 2.1 which has Android 5.1.1 at the core. ColorOS is Oppo’s own skin that provides some extra features like extra gestures on the phone and extra toggles in the notification area. USB OTG works fine and can be used with an OTG cable or just by using an OTG USB drive that you may have.
All in all at a price tag of Rs. 15,990, this phone will sell in good numbers if Oppo gets the marketing right else they might see some good competition in the market as similar phones with similar CPU and RAMs will flood the market pretty soon.
