OPPO A57 launched in India with 5.2-inch display, 16MP front camera

Oppo has announced the new A57 in India and it comes with some great features and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers. The main highlight of the phone is the camera as Oppo has been branding itself as “Oppo Camera Phone” in India. The phone was launched in China back in November of 2016 and Oppo has now launched it in India. The phone has a 5.2-inch HD display and it runs on Android 6.0 Mashmallow with ColorOS 3.0 on top.

It is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. The graphics are handled by a Adreno 505 GPU. But the main focus od this phone is on the camera and as per Oppo this phone comes with exceptional cameras. First of all, the primary camera is a 13MP shooter with a LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. The front-facing camera is also a performer and it has a 16MP sensor and an aperture of f/2.0. Both of these cameras have 5P lens which are known for their clarity.

The phone also has a fingerprint sensor for security. Other than that, the phone supports 4G VoLTE and it is a dual SIM phone which accepts two nano SIMs. The internal storage is 32GB which can be expanded up to 256GB which is good if you are going to take a lot of photos using this phone. All this is powered by a 2900mAh battery and it is priced at Rs. 14,990.

The phone clearly isn’t targeted towards the crowd who is looking to buy a phone with best specifications in the price. The phone is actually perfect for people who want a phone under Rs. 15,000 which can perform well in the Camera department.

It will be available online on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal and it will also be sold offline in brick and mortar stores which is definitely a good thing. You can buy it starting 3rd February 2017.
