HTC has launched its much awaited Desire series smartphone – Desire 620G in India. This successor of HTC Desire 620 will be available in two colors in most of the retail stores across the country from second week of December, priced at Rs. 15,900.
Desire 620G flaunts a 5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, which amounts to pixel density of 294 ppi. It is equipped with Octa Core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz backed by 1 GB RAM, 8 GB in-built storage and a MicroSD expansion slot (up to 32 GB).
Desire 620G sports an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash which is capable of recording 1080p full HD videos and a 5 MP camera at front, which can be used for full HD video calling. It also packs a 2100 mAh battery which can deliver 19.2 hours of talk time and up to 525 hours of standby on 3G network.
On the software front, Desire 620G is running Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense UI on top, with features like HTC BlinkFeed, Video Highlights and Lock Screen functionality. Connectivity features include EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS and dual Micro SIM functionality.

HTC Desire 620G sounds a little expensive considering the specifications. The new desire series handset will be available in Santorini White and Gunmetal Gray color options across all major retail stores for a price of 15,900 INR.
