Nokia Lumia 830 launched in India for Rs 28,799

Microsoft has launched their latest mid range smartphone – Lumia 830 in India. It was unveiled at the IFA last month and features a 5 inch HD ClearBlack IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 with Lumia Denim Update.


The phone is powered by a 1.2 Ghz quad core processor along with 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded by using a micro SD card of up to 128 GB. Lumia 830 sports a 10 megapixel pureview back camera with LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 0.9 megapixel front facing camera. It comes with 2,200 mAh battery and integrated wireless charging.

Lumia 830 comes in bright orange, bright green, white and black colors and it is priced at Rs 28,799 in India. The device will on sale in India from 8th october and users will get 1 TB of cloud storage on One Drive free for 6 months with the device. Company has also tied up with vodafone to provide 1 GB of 2G/3G data free for 2 months with the device.
