HMD Global has announced its latest mid-range segment handset Nokia 7 on Thursday which will be available in Gloss Black and Matte White color variants. Nokia 7 with 4GB RAM will be priced at 2,499 yuan and the 6GB RAM version will cost at CNY 2,699.
It is already for purchase on JD.com, Suning and Tmall in China. The company has also sent out the press invites for an event in India on October 31st and the same handset is expected to be showcased.
Well, if we talk about the specifications, Nokia 7 is fitted with a 5.2 inch 2.5D curved glass display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is equipped with 2.2 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 14nm processor along with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory that can be further expanded by up to another 128GB using microSD card slot.
Nokia 7 sports a 16 MP auto focus rear shooter with two tone LED flash light, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, ZEISS optics and 80 degree wide angle lens. It also packs a 5 MP front facing shooter with the aperture of f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um sensor and 84 degree wide angle lens. It also comes with a Bothie app which allows you to use both front and rear cameras at a time with dual-sight technology.
This hybrid dual SIM based smartphone also comes with fingerprint scanner mounted on its rear panel and houses a 3000mAh built-in battery with fast charging support. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type C port and 3.5mm audio jack.
