As expected, HMD Global’s launch event has already started in India and the company today brings its cheapest Nokia smartphone till now with the name of Nokia 2. It will be available at an average global price of 99 Euros (around 7,500 INR) from mid of November onwards, while Indian price has not been announced yet by the company.

Nokia 2 incorporates a 5 inch HD LTPS LCD In-Cell display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and clubbed with Adreno 304 GPU. There is 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 8GB flash storage and an expansion slot for microSD slot that takes up to 128GB card.
Nokia 2 sports an 8 MP auto focus rear shooter with LED flash light and a 5 MP frontal shooter to capture selfie pictures. It employs a 4100mAh battery that can offer you up to 2 days of battery backup.
This dual SIM handset also comes with IP52 certification which makes this a splashproof phone. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS which is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. Other connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
