HMD Global is likely to announce a range of Nokia smartphones at upcoming international event, MWC 2018. While the company hasn’t said anything officially but Nokia 1 which is the most affordable smartphone of HMD Global, Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 8 Sirocco are devices that HMD Global is expected to introduce from the big stage.
Apart from that, few reports also said that these smartphones will enter Indian market in the month of April and HMD Global might also announce few more devices apart from these phones in India.
Nokia 1 will be a budget smartphone and will come under Google’s Android Go project. Which is to say that it will have minimal hardware with Google’s software blessings and is expected to be the cheapest Nokia phone. It might be available for somewhere around 6K.
If we talk about Nokia 6 (2018), which is recently launched in China. It comes with 5.5 inch full HD LCD display with standard 16:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is equipped with Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB internal memory. Nokia 6 2018 generation is associated wit dual 16 MP rear cameras and 8 MP frontal sensor onboard.
Apart from this, the high-end Nokia 8 Sirocco which can be launched with the name of Nokia 9, might be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor, 12 MP + 13 MP dual rear camera setup made by Carl Zeiss and 5 MP front camera. It may also come with IP67 certification and might feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD OLED display and 3D glass layer on top of it.
There are lot of rumors afloat about these smartphones, however there is no official information till now. There is no smoke without fire, though. Right? Most of these might actually end up hitting retail chains soon.
