Holaa app identifies caller’s name, with his/her photograph and location during an incoming call. This also notifies you about spam calls and you can also block unwanted contacts through this app. It allows you to search people by their contact numbers and also helps you to update your phonebook by synchronization with Facebook and Google accounts.

You can share the saved contacts in your phonebook and unknown numbers, photos, e-mail addresses with the share option in this app. This app syncs contact details across all users and offers them the option to merge these details on their devices. Its smart enough to recognize when you are away from home network and allows you to block calls from all unknown numbers.

Holaa! app will be available for Android users only and users can download it from Play store in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Persian and Portuguese languages.

Commenting on the launch, Vikas Saxena, CEO, Nimbuzz India said, “On an average, 4 out of 10 calls that a pre-paid mobile user receives are from unknown numbers while 1 out of these 4 unknown calls is a spam call. This makes it one of the mass market needs on smartphones today. Nimbuzz has always tried to address a mass market need, satisfying millions of users. With Nimbuzz we did it for chatting and free voip calls. We hope to do the same with Holaa for call management.”

We can say that this app will compete against Truecaller which is currently used by millions of users worldwide. The success of the app and also its effectiveness will depend on the number of users using this platform.
