Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab S3 and the Galaxy Book at the MWC 2017 today. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, as the name suggests is a tablet while the Galaxy Book is a Windows 10 hybrid. The Samsung Galaxy Book comes in two different sizes, the 10.6-inch model and the 12-inch model. Both of these have a full HD and 2K display respectively. Both of them also come with an S-Pen and a physical keyboard which makes the product stand in the same category as that of products like the Microsoft Surface.
The 10.6-inch Galaxy Book comes with a Full HD display and it is powered by the Intel Core M3 processor which is clocked at 2.6GHz. You get 4GB RAM and storage sizes of 64GB and 128GB internal storage. Of course, you can add addition storage up to 256GB using a microSD card. Talking about the battery, it comes with a 30.4Wh battery which Samsung claims that will provide a backup of 10 hours on regular usage.
Coming to the 12-inch version you get a 2K Super AMOLED display and under the hood, you will find an Intel Core i5 7th generation processor which is clocked at 3.1GHz. The processor is coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage or 8GB RAM or 258GB storage. The Galaxy Book 12-inch has an SSD as well so you can expect some really speedy performance here. You will get a 39Wh battery which will provide a 10.5 hours of usage time under regular use.
Both of these variants have a 5MP front facing camera and a rear camera of 13MP is present on the 12-inch Galaxy Book. There are two USB Type-C ports on the 12-inch model but only one on the 10.6-inch model.
