[MWC 2017] Motorola Moto G5 and G5 Plus announced with a new design

Lenovo has finally unveiled the much awaited Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at the MWC 2017 today. These new smartphone is Moto’s new G series always set new standard in the medium range of smartphones and this time these phones come with new design and better specifications.

The Moto G5 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display with a pixel density of 424ppi which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and an Adreno 506 GPU to handle the graphics. You can choose from the 2/3/4GB RAM and 16/32/64GB internal storage versions but keep in mind that these versions will depend on where you live. You will also have a microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 128GB Camera wise, the Moto G5 Plus has a primary camera of 12-megapixel f/1.7 camera with LED flash and a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture.

The phone has a fingerprint sensor and is water resistant with nano coating. You also get a 3000mAh battery with turbo charging which is a welcome feature.

Coming to the Moto G5, you get a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and choice between 2/3GB RAM and 16/32GB storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. You will get a 13-megapixel f/2.0 camera as a primary shooter which is capable of shooting 1080p videos and the front-facing camera will be a 5-megapixel shooter with an aperture of f/2.2/ The Moto G5 will also be water repellant with nano-coating and will have a 2800mAh battery.

The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus will come in two different colors, the Lunar Gray and the Fine Gold. The Moto G5 will start at a price of 199 Euros while the Moto G5 Plus will start at 279 Euros.
