ZTE today introduced two new handsets, ZTE Blade V7 and ZTE Blade V7 Lite, for those young at heart at MWC 2016. These handsets flaunt a beautiful metallic design and will be running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handsets will cost $249 and $189 respectively.
The ZTE Blade V7 packs a 5.2 inch Full HD display with aesthetically appealing 2.5D glass layered on top. The handset is powered by 1.5GHz MT6753 octa core handset with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage.
The Blade V7 is just 3.5 mm thick at the edges and houses a 13MP rear camera module with dual tone flash, A 5MP front selfies shooter which can use the display as flash and a 2500 mAh battery. ZTE Blade V7 will be available in Germany, Spain, South Africa, Ethiopia, and Mexico few months down the line.
The ZTE Blade V7 Lite shares the same metallic design as V7 but trims down on specs to accommodate the lower price tag. The screen size reduces marginally to 5 inches, though it’s still a full HD display panel, but the major change is low-end MT6735P quad core MediaTek silicon which is fairly common in entry level handsets these days.
The handset includes 8MP cameras on both front and rear side. Surprisingly the low-end Blade 7 lite has a key feature which the Blade Z7 is missing – A fingerprint sensor. Other features include 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 4G LTE and 2500 mAh battery. The Blade V7 Lite will launch in Russia, Mexico, Spain, Germany, and Thailand this spring.
