Acer’s MWC offering is Liquid Jade 2, a Snapdragon 808 powered handset, which combines decent set of hardware specifications, but it’s hard to put things in perspective since Acer has decided to remain mum on the pricing details.
The handset includes a 5.5-inch (1080 × 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with 100 percent NTSC color gamut. The display is covered with a 2.5D gorilla glass layer. The handset flaunts a curved plastic back with brushed metal finish, a look we have seen before on Acer phones as well.
Besides the Hexa core Snapdragon 808, SoC includes 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, along with provision of further expansion for up to another 1TB. Acer didn’t mention the exact version of Android running on Jade 2, but we are guessing Android Lollipop.
For photography, there is 21MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, dual LED flash, 4K video recording, and a 8MP front-facing camera module with f/2.2 aperture lens.
Other features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, high-resolution audio featuring DTS Headphone:X technology, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
