At MWC 2015, Sony has announced its high end ultra slim tablet, the successor of Xperia Z2 tablet- Xperia Z4 tablet. Xperia Z4 tablet will be available in Wi-Fi and 4G LTE models in black and white color options and will be rolling out starting from June 2015 onwards. Sony hasn’t disclosed the price of either Wi-Fi or LTE variants as of now.
Xperia Z4 tablet includes a 10.1 inch IPS display with the resolution of 2560×1600 pixels which is amounts to very sharp pixel density of 300 pixels per inches. It is powered by Qualcomm’s best 2.0 GHz 64-bit octa core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt memory. Users can also expand the memory by using Micro SD card slot which supports up to 128 GB card.
Xperia Z4 features an 8 MP rear shooter with Sony Exmor RS sensor and also packs a 5 MP front facer for selfies too. This device comes with Hi-Res audio playback support, digital noise cancellation, Sony 3D Surround Sound technology (VPT), Clear Audio+, and xLoud tech.
Xperia Z4 is running latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box. It has a massive 6000 mAh battery inside the device which can deliver 17 hours of video playback. Connectivity features include 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC and Micro USB port.
The Company also includes a Sony BKB50 Bluetooth Keyboard with touchpad which can easily connect with the tablet so that users can use this product as a portable laptop too. Sony has also introduced a Sony SRC32 tablet cover which can double as flip cover and stand.
