Huawei has announced the successor of its last year launched MediaPad X1- The slim and sexy MediaPad X2 at MWC this year in Barcelona. The company has launched this tablet in two models- 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM variant and 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM version while price and availability details of MediaPad X2 are still a mystery.
MediaPad X2 is fitted with a 7 inch IPS display with the resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels which amounts to pixel density of 323 ppi. It employs Kirin 930 64 bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz with MaliT628 GPU, paired with 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM. MediaPad X2 comes with the internal memory of 16 or 32 GB and Micro SD card which allows users to expand the memory.
On the photography front, MediaPad X2 sports a 13 MP rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash and is also equipped with a 5 MP front snapper for selfie lovers. It comes with a 5000 mAh battery and voice calling capabilities too.
MediaPad X2 is running Emotion UI 3.0 based on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. This device also flaunts 4G LTE connectivity and dual SIM option. Other connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi dual band, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro USB port.

Huawei announced MediaPad X2 in two variants with different color options- 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage variant in a moonlight silver color and 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage in amber gold color. The phablet further blurs the line between smartphones and tablets.
