Motorola has announced latest version of Android, Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Moto X 2nd Gen and company promises that all other remaining Motorola smartphone will also be updated with Android Lollipop very soon.
Moto X 2nd Gen users can update their smartphones with latest Android version and if they face any difficulty, they can take assistance from motorola.com. Android Lollipop update size is 576.5MB and users should get Over The Air notification for update on their Moto X. If you don’t get that notification, then with these 5 easy steps, you can manually check and upgrade your device to Android Lollipop:
- Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
- Select “About phone”.
- Select “System updates”.
- Select “Download”. After the software is downloaded, select “Install”.
- After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
Latest Android version comes with great features like:
Material design: It features a colorful and more responsive UI design, better touch screen interactions, new colors, typography and familiar visual elements.
Notifications: Users can view and reply to messages directly from lock screen. When you are watching videos or playing games then calls will not disturb you, device will give an option to answer call or keep playing or watching videos.
