Motorola India on September 5, 2014 launched three new products in India including the much awaited Moto 360. Motorola entered the Indian marketplace this year itself in February 2014 with the Moto G which was a massive hit.
Observing the demand, they launched better and cheaper products too, Moto X and Moto E and on September 5, 2014 they brought the next iterations first thing in the Indian subcontinent. We have been looking out for better purchase than the Moto G but there ain’t anything like that, no? This created a demand for the next generation keeping up to the needs of the time which led to Moto G (2nd Gen), Moto X (2nd Gen) and the show stopper Moto 360.
Moto G to be honest is not much of an upgrade from the Moto G from a technical aspect but from a user’s perspective he might et everything he wants. Bigger screen, better camera and expandable storage. All above, it comes for 1k cheaper that is 12,999.
Moto X on the other hand, is a nice buy but with some constraints that limit the ‘make most of it’ part. It comes with the powerful Snapdragon 801 chipset with 2.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB on board storage with the standard variant with no expandable option. 13MP rear camera with OIS enables decent clicks and a viewable on 5-inch full HD display. Pricing and availablity still not announced.
In the end, Moto 360 the Android wear enabled smartwatch which we all have been waiting for. Eventually it turns out to be a bummer with 320mAh battery that can only last for 12 hours. Apart from this, it is the best looking smartwatch till date running Android wear. Pricing and availability too not announced.
Both Moto X and Moto 360 are said to be made available later this month but Moto G 16GB is already available to buy from Flipkart.com.
