First Moto branded dual camera phone, the Moto G5S Plus, is now official. Compared to Moto G5 Plus, the G5S has more metal, a bigger display and improved camera hardware. The handset will retail in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold color in Europe for 299 Euros that convert to roughly 22,700 INR.
The Moto G5S Plus has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. The phone also accepts up to 128GB of microSD storage. The software running on the phone is Android 7.1 Nougat.
As for dual cameras, Lenovo is using sRGB + Monochrome implementation of two 13MP sensors. Theoretically, the two sensors will be able to gather more light for detailed and crisp shots. You can also shoot 4K videos using the rear camera module. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies.
Other features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, water repellant coating, Fingerprint sensor and a 3000mAh battery.
Lenovo also launched Moto G5S, its smaller sibling, that comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is powered by 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 chipset. It shall be available for 249 Euros or roughly 18,700 INR. It has a 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 3000mAh battery.
