Moto 360 2nd Gen Launched in India Starting 19,999 INR

Motorola has today launched the second iteration of Moto 360 in India, which improves upon its predecessor and will be available starting 19,999 INR on Myntra and Flipkart. Since it’s a watch, style matters. Motorola ensures this by introducing 5 different Moto 360 variants this time with 42mm and 46mm options for men and women.

Men’s variants will be available in cognac, black leather and black metal and there are two variants exclusively for women: a distinctive rose gold with blush leather and natural metal.

Talking of specifications, Moto 360 2nd Gen comes equipped with almost round (yes, the flat tire anomaly is still there) back lit LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, 4GB storage and 512MB RAM. It is IP67 water resistant certified and includes 300 or 400 mAh battery depending on the variant you choose.

More important story here is the software. The new Moto 360 is running Android Wear software along with some Motorola customizations. Moto Body lets you track your nutrition apart from regular fitness data and a watch face includes Moto dials which provide live tiles to monitor your progress. Like other Android Wear running smartwatches, it will be compatible with both Android and iOS devices (Android 4.3+ or iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.2+)

Dual Microphones are also present to help you interact with the handset using voice commands. Other important features includes Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Vibration/Haptics engine and heart rate monitor.
