Microsoft launches Lumia 540 Dual SIM in India for INR 10,199

Microsoft has finally launched the Lumia 540 in India which is a dual SIM Windows Phone 8.1 Device. This phone was launched in the budget series of Windows Phones and it is aimed to give competition to many other Android phones that are currently ruling the price bracket.

It is priced at Rs. 10,199 and you get a phone with a 5 inch 720p screen which is powered by a 1.2 ghz Quad Core Snapdragon 200 chipset and it is supported by 1 GB RAM. The phone has a storage of 8 GB which can be expanded up to 128 GB via micro SD card.

Talking about the camera, it has a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing shooter of 5 MP. All this is powered by a battery of 2200 mAh which is removable.

While the phone does not look very impressive on the specification side, we have to admit that Windows Phone 8.1 is a much less demanded on system resources. The phone is also Windows 10 ready so you will get the update for sure!
