Lumia 730 hands on [Photo Gallery]

Microsoft has launched their latest entry level Windows Phone Lumia 730 in India for Rs 15,299. It features a massive 5 megapixel front facing camera and is targeted at the people who love to capture selfies or do a lot of skype/video calls. The phone runs on Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 along with Lumia Denim update.

The front of the device is dominated by a 4.7 inch HD display and above the display we have a 5 megapixel camera, an earpiece and proximity sensor. At the bottom of the device we have a micro USB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack is present at the top.

On the right side we have a power/lock key and a volume rocker. We do not have any ports/buttons on the left side of the phone. Moving to the back, it comes with a removable glossy plastic back cover and underneath it you will find the slots for a micro SD card and two micro SIM cards. Yes, Lumia 730 is a dual SIM smartphone.

At the back we have a 6.7 megapixel camera along with LED flash and a circular loudspeaker. Lumia devices are known for their build quality, and the Lumia 730 is no exception. Considering the price point at which Microsoft has launched the device, we really liked the build quality & design of Lumia 730.

Talking about the Hardware specs, it comes with the same 1.2 Ghz quad core processor which powers Lumia 830. It has 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded by using a micro SD card. So, you won’t face any kind lag or slowness while using the phone or while running various apps/games on it.

To test both the back and Front camera of the device we took few sample images at the event and as expected it probably has the best front facing camera in this price range. The phone is powered by a 2,220 mAh battery and it supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.
