LG V10 is the new flagship from the domestic manufacturer LG which comes with 2 displays and 2 selfies cameras. On the inside, it doesn’t digress much from LG G4, but improves on its shortcomings for a more premium experience.
To start with, G4’s plastic casing has been replaced with a sturdy and durable SAE grade 316L stainless steel frame and the phone now qualifies for US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G which certifies it to withstand falls of up to 1.2 meters.
A fingerprint sensor has also been added on the back side, just below the rear key, where your index finger naturally rests. With all the new additions, LG has still managed to keep the back cover removable, and that is where you can house SIM card, up to 2TB MicroSD card or swap the 3000 mAh battery.
The 5.7 Inch QHD display is handled by Snapdragon 808 hexa-core chipset, which is aided with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage. On top of the display, there is a second display, which can display weather info, music controls, etc when the main display is off. When the main display is on, recent app shortcuts are available on it and can be used to switch to different app, even if you are in the middle of another app.
LG has used the same 16MP rear camera as G4, but on the front side, two 5MP cameras are present which are together used to click ultra wide angle and distortion free selfies. Other features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, Slim Port, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and QuickCharge 2.0 support.
The LG V10 will be available in Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue and Opal Blue colors starting from Korea, and later followed by United States, China and key countries in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
