LG India organized a first ever Tech Show in India where they showcased a diverse range of futuristic products. At the event LG also showcased the products it is planning to launch in 2013 in India. The highlight of the show were World’s first 55 inch OLED TV, Pocket Photo Printer, Aramid Home Theatre, X Boom audio system and the largest capacity Laundry washing machine.
According to Mr. Soon Kwon, Managing Director LG Electronics company is aiming at 20% overall growth in 2013. At the event LG India showcased the World’s largest and slimmest, 55 inch OLED television which is just 4 mm thick and weighs less than 10 kilograms. Along with OLED television LG also displayed their new Hecto Laser display which supports full HD (1080p) screen resolution and can create a 100 inch screen from just 22 inches away.
One of our favorite innovation showcased at the tech show as the LG PD233 Pocket Photo, a smart mobile printer. It can be connected to smartphones or tablet via Bluetooth, NFC or an USB port. Talking about the LG Home Appliances division, company also showcased the Laundry washing machine which is the fastest and largest capacity front load washing machine with 6 Motion Direct Drive Technology.
Another innovative product present at the event was the LG Evercool refrigerator which is specially designed for Indian consumers facing long power cuts. In the mobile segment LG showcased the LG Optimus G pro and LG Optimus Vu II. Both these devices would be launched in mid 2013 in India.
LG also showcased their new PC line up consisting of LG Tab-Book (H160) and LG Z360 Ultrabook. There were around 70 products displayed at the tech show and it was not possible for us to cover all those products in this single post, so we just covered the main products showcased at the event. At the show company said that they would continue to develop innovative technologies and offer products customized to the specific requirements of various markets.
