LG India today introduced a more powerful variant of Q6, the LG Q6+ in India priced at Rs. 17,990 INR. For the extra 3000 bucks, the plus variant offers extra RAM (4GB vs 3GB) and double the storage (32GB vs 64GB).
The primary highlight of this compact and light phone remains its 5.5-inch 18:9 aspect ratio Full HD+ Full vision display. LG is using a good quality panel with minimal bezels around it. The chipset, however, remains the same Snapdragon 435 octa-core mobile platform as on the original Q6. The custom LG UX running on the phone is based on Android Nougat.
For photography, the handset includes a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera with100-degree wide angle lens. The dual-SIM phone also houses a 3000mAh battery. Other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS / GLONASS, USB OTG, FM radio and MIL-STD 810G certification for durability.
LG is also offering one-time free screen replacement within 6 months of purchase. The LG Q6+ will be available for purchase at offline retail stores as well.
