Last week LG Optimus G went for sale in India via an online retailer Saholic. Today LG officially launched the Optimus G smartphone in India for Rs 34,500 (MRP). The smartphone is an enhanced version of the highly popular Nexus 4 and is being brought into the market against the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is currently one of the most famous Android Smartphone available in the market.
LG Optimus G comes with a 4.7 True HD IPS+ Display which has a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. The display has a 15:9 aspect ratio and comes with Gorilla Glass 2 Protection. The phone is powered by a 1.5 Ghz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB RAM. It runs on latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with LG Optimus 3.0 UI on top.
It comes with a 13 megapixel auto focus camera at the back with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling. It comes with some awesome apps such as QuickSlide which allows the users to run two apps simultaneously and QuickTranslator for translating any international language into English and vice-versa.
Another superb feature present in the phone is Dual Screen Dual Play which allows mirroring between the smartphone and a TV. Besides these you also get QuickMemo app for jotting down notes, ability to zoom while watching videos, smart shutter app which can sense movement and automatically adjust the shutter speed to capture blur free images and cheese shutter app which automatically takes a picture when one says ‘Cheese’ .
