LG has today introduced its latest curved monitor and digital cinema monitors in India, which were globally launched at IFA in mid 2014. LG claims that this is the world’s first curved IPS LCD monitor with 21:9 aspect ratio.
LG’s professional grade 21:9 curved monitor 34UC97 comes with 34 inch IPS display with Quad HD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. Users can easily connect it with PCs or Macs and it will come with the support for Thunderbolt 2 for high speed data transfer. This curved monitor also has MAXX AUDIO and 7W stereo speaker system onboard which can deliver loud and good sound quality across all frequencies.
Apart from this 34 inch curved monitor, LG also introduced its Digital Cinema 4K monitor 31MU97 which incorporates 31 inch IPS LCD 4K Resolution display with 4096 x 2160 pixels. This 4K monitor features dual color space and LG’s True Color Pro calibration software for professionals and provides sharp pictures with good viewing angles. With all these features LG’s digital cinema 4K monitor is very useful professionals like movie makers and photographers, who need to deal with 4K content.
For gamers, LG also debuts its gaming monitor with Black Stabilizer, designed to handle fast paced action and to respond instantly. It has a 144 Hz rate and LG’s Dynamic Action Sync (DAS) Mode which ensures faster, smoother and flicker free action well suited for gaming enthusiasts. It also has a Motion 240 feature, which allows player to minimize motion blur with a fast response time of less than 1ms.
