LG has today unveiled the successor of its curved display smartphone G Flex, G Flex 2 at Consumer Electronics Show 2015. LG G Flex 2 is more compact and heals faster than its predecessor and company claims that it can heal minor scratches in just 10 seconds. This device will be available later this month in Korea but the price or global availability info has not been announced yet.
G Flex 2 flaunts a 5.5 inch full HD P-OLED display with LG developed glass layer protection on top which is 20% more durable than Gorilla Glass 3. The screen is curved to a 700mm radius. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz 64 bit Octa Core Snapdragon 810 CPU paired with 2 GB DDR4 RAM. It will come with either 16 GB or 32 GB expandable storage variants via Micro SD card.
On the photography front, G Flex 2 sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual-LED two tone flash, OIS+ and Laser Auto Focus. It also a 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera on board. This smartphone houses a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging support and can charge 50 percent in just 40 minutes whereas company hasn’t talked about talk time or standby time.
LG Flex 2 runs on latest version of Android, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It also comes with 3 new gesture controls include Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Glance view. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS / A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro USB port. It will be available in two color options- Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.

LG Flex 2 with curved full HD display will be available in the end of this month in Korea and will hit stores globally after that. Company has not revealed price of this device yet.
