Lenovo today presented Vibe C2 Power, the next iteration of Vibe C2. The latter was in the news a few weeks back when it was being speculated as being the replacement of the Motorola Moto E series.
The power moniker here implies a bigger battery capacity. The Vibe C2 Power houses a juicy 3500mAh battery. However, that’s not all the improvement it has to offer. The RAM capacity has also been doubled to 2GB, which shall help facilitate more efficient multitasking.
Other hardware is as pedestrian as the original C2. The Vibe C2 includes a 5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD display, and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor. As already stated, the chipset is aided by 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Other features include 32GB MicroSD card support, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The software on this one is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Also, housing a bigger battery makes Vibe C2 power thicker and heavier as compared to Vibe C2. The Vibe C2 power measures 143×71.4×9.5mm and tips the scale at 156 grams.
According to initial reports, the Vibe C2 power is retailing in Russia for RUB 11000, which converts to Approx 11,200 Indian rupees. This also means that as far as smartphones go, Indians are having it way better than Russians at equivalent prices. 🙂
