Lenovo K5 Plus To Launch Tomorrow; Won’t Play K4 Note Successor in India

Lenovo is all set to launch its next smartphone, the K5 Plus, in India tomorrow. The handset was better of the two handsets Lenovo showcased at MWC, Barcelona last month with a more powerful processor and sharper full HD resolution.

As the name might suggest, the K5 Plus isn’t the successor of recently launched Lenovo K4 Note. The K5 Note which is selling in China might be worthy of that tag, but again Lenovo isn’t retailing K4 Note in China (It sells as Vibe X3 Lite there). Confused?

The point is that the Lenovo K5 Plus will fall in the Lenovo A6000 lineage and thus, you can expect a price tag lesser than K4 Note when it launches in India tomorrow. The Lenovo A6000 and A7000 pivotal roles in establishing Lenovo’s online business and increasing its 4G LTE market share in India, and the K5 Plus success will be measured by the same yardstick.

The highlighted feature of K5 Plus is stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The handset includes a 5-inch full HD display and is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

Other features include dual SIM card slot, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE and 2750 mAh battery. Stay tuned for the official launch!
