Lenovo A6600 is not yet official, but credible reports suggest that the new A-series handset is already retailing in the offline market for 6,600 INR.
The Lenovo A6600 offers a very humble set of hardware and looks like a phone designed primarily for the offline market. The display is 5-inches in size, with 720p HD resolution. The handset is powered by entry grade MT67365 chipset ticking at 1GHz, paired with just 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The CPU configuration should limit it as a device for basic and first-time smartphone users.
For photography, the Lenovo A6600 sports an 8MP primary rear camera and a basic 2MP selfie camera. The dual SIM handset also supports MicroSD card support and 4G VoLTE connectivity. This also means the handset will support Reliance Jio SIM cards.
The handset is running near stock Android Marshmallow software, but includes a few pre-installed applications like the Sync it, Share it, SEEit Gallery, and SNAPit Camera. The Lenovo A6600 packs a modest 2300mAh battery.
