Lava Iris 504q with gesture controls launched in India for Rs 13,499

Lava has launched a new handset Iris 504q in India. It is the flagship Android smartphone from the company and features gesture based controls. This is the main USP of the device and something new which we have seen just in one or two devices that too in the high end segment.

The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Beans out of the box and it is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad core MediaTek processor along with 1GB of RAM. It features a 5 inch HD display. The device comes with a 8 megapixel back camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling.

Iris 504q has a unique gesture based controls where user can change FM radio or music, browse gallery and click photos by simple gesture movement. Another interesting thing about the device is that it supports USB on the go (OTG).

Company has tied up with Hungama to integrate Hungama’s Music Application in the device. The phone comes with a 2000mAh battery and a cool intelligent magnetic flip cover.
