Lava has today introduced its new entry level smartphone- Flair Z1 in India, ahead of the second generation Android One smartphone launch, which is expected to be unveiled on 27th July 2015. This smartphone will be available from coming week onwards at all major brick and mortar retail outlets and will be exclusively available on an e-commerce channel Snapdeal.com for Rs.5,699.
Flair Z1 is fitted with a 5 inch IPS LCD display with the resolution of 854 X 480 pixels and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor with unspecified chipset assisted by 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and an expansion slot for micro SD card (up to 32 GB).
On the camera front, Flair Z1 packs a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash which is capable of 720p recording and there is also a 2 mega pixel front facing camera onboard for snapping selfies. It also has a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery with no words about talk time and standby time.
Flair Z1 is running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box. This dual SIM smartphone comes in two colors options Black and White. Connectivity options EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
Flair Z1 will compete against phones like Xiaomi Redmi 2 (8GB), Coolpad Dazen 1, Micromax Canvas A1 (8 GB), Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) and Micromax Canvas Spark etc. in Indian smartphone market.
