Chinese handset maker iVoomi, who had entered Indian smartphone market last month with the launch of Me1+ on ShopClues, has today announced its first firmware update for its budget smartphone Me1+. The Update will roll out in phased manner starting May 18.
This update offers bug fixes in current software and improves the overall performance of the device. The company has already taken steps to address the problem of device’s heating with this OTA update. You will also see the improvement in camera’s performance. The update also optimizes touch related issues that a few consumers reported.
According to the company, this over the air software update makes this device even better and assures of best in class user-friendly experience.
This iVoomi Me 1+ was launched on 25th of April and comes with 5 inch HD display, 5 MP shooter at front and rear and is backed by 1.2GHz quad core processor. The handset runs on Android Marshmallow which is upgradable to Android Nougat and clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM.
It also has extendable storage by up to 128GB with microSD card slot and employs a 3000mAh battery and 4G VoLTE support.
