Intex Technology has roped in great sales figure in recent time which has strengthened its position in Indian smartphone market. The company sold over 1.7 Million smartphones last quarter, which is very impressive as the domestic manufacturer retails in budget Android segment.
According to shipment report by Infodrive India & Cyber Exim Solutions, Intex was able to sell 6.5 lakh devices in January alone, which it claims is more than any other domestic manufacturer. The report from Counterpoint also put it at the third spot in competitive Indian market after Samsung and Micromax, which is a big achievement.
Intex also stated that its Aqua 3G and Aqua Y2 and aqua power portfolio smartphones have been appreciated by Indian users and has helped Intex achieve this phenomenal success.

The 1.4 GHz octa core powered smartphone sports a 5 Inch HD display and is fitted with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage for just for 9,444 INR. Other features include 13 MP, 5 MP, 4000 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. The company has been steadily pumping out several low end smartphones in India as well.
