Intex Cloud FX cheapeast Firefox OS smartphone launched in India

The mobile operating system by Mozilla known as Firefox OS has been launched in India and today Intex launched the low cost smartphone equipped with the new operating system.

On 25 August 2014, Intex technologies launched the Intex Cloud FX which is actually India’s lowest priced smartphone. Running the all new Firefox OS mobile operating system, the Intex Cloud FX smartphone features all the necessary features to call it a smartphone.

The Intex Cloud FX is powered by a 1GHz processor and comes with an expandable storage up to 4GB. The smartphone supports Bluetooth, WiFi, dual SIM capability and 2G mobile data services. The device also supports several languages like English, Hindi and Tamil.

Open sourced Firefox OS is built using open web technologies by Mozilla involving great efforts from its community. This is an operating system build by volunteer + organizational support and have received appreciations in developing countries like Brazil, Spain etc.

The smartphone has been launched by Intex for Rs. 1999 making it India’s cheapest smartphone till date. Aircel has also extended an attractive offer for Cloud FX users allowing subscribers to avail 1GB data free per month for 3 months. Intex Cloud FX is available exclusively on in two premium colours – Black and White.
