Here is what Indians Searched the Most in 2014

It’s the time of the year when Google reveals who managed to garner maximum attention on the Internet, via its Year in search list. We Indians love Bollywood and we do love cricket, but surprisingly this year a politician – Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji managed to rank higher by remaining in spotlight throughout 2014 (though he still ranks below iPhone 6 in the list).

The 2014 Lok Sabha elections pointed to the power of digital media and also to the unprecedented demand for information. These elections were fought as much on India’s dusty plains as it was on digital platforms, including social media such as Google Hangouts and YouTube.
