Lenovo seems to have dropped the Vine moniker for good. The Chinese manufacturer today presented another of its P series handset – Lenovo P2, which succeeds the Vibe P1. Like other P series handsets, this one too houses a massive battery.
The Lenovo P2 has a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by mid-range 2 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB/ 4GB RAM, and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The P2 also accepts MicroSD card. Software is Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is no longer the latest Android flavor around, but is still quite trendy.
For photography, there is a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front mounted selfie shooter. Other notable highlights include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, Fingerprint sensor and, of course, the juicy 5110mAh battery with fast charging support.
Besides P2, Lenovo also presented A Plus, a compact 4.5-inch display (854 x 480) smartphone, powered by 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage.
Other features include 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Android Lollipop OS, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 2000mAh battery.
