Huawei unleashed a new compact phone, the P8 Lite 2017 that comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass display that shall be available in Black, White and Gold Color options with price starting at 239 Euros or roughly 17,000 INR by the end of January.
The Huawei P8 Lite is powered by company’s own Kirin 655 processor which is 16nm process based chipset with 4 cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz and other 4 clocked at 2.1 GHz. The low-end variant will have 3GB RAM paired with 16GB storage and the higher variable will have 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space.
The software running on the handset is the latest Android Nougat based EMUI 5.0. For photography, the handset has 12MP rear camera with wide f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front camera for selfies. Apart from the camera and LED flash, the P8 Lite also has a fingerprint sensor mounted on its glass rear.
Other features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and a 3000mAh battery. The new Huawei P8 Lite takes after the recently launched Honor 8 in terms of design. It will be available in dual-SIM (Hybrid) and Single SIM variants depending on the markets. The dual-SIM version will be available in Black color and the Single SIM model will retail in White and Gold hues.
