Huawei has today announced its latest flagship smartphone- Mate 9 Pro in China, which is the successor of Mate 9 launched earlier this month in Germany. This handset also features dual rear cameras with Leica lenses similar to the Mate 9.
The Mate 9 Pro will be available in two storage variants. The one with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of inbuilt memory will costs CNY 4699 and the other top end model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage has been priced at CNY 5299.
Mate 9 Pro features a 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED 2.5D curved display and is powered by Octa Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor, paired with Mali G71 octa core GPU. It also offers option for expandable memory (by up to another 256GB) via microSD card slot.
Mate 9 Pro sports dual rear cameras with 20 MP resolution and a 12 MP resolution with Leica lenses. Both these rear cameras feature dual tone LED flash and f/2.2 aperture optics. It also has an 8MP front facing with f/1.9 aperture.
Mate 9 Pro comes with juicy 4000mAh battery and runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat with Emotion UI 5.0 OS. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded in its home button and comes with hybrid dual SIM slot. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type – C, 3.5mm audio jack.
