Huawei has revealed three new Matebooks with Windows 10 OS, named MateBook E, MateBook X and MateBook D. The MateBook E is a convertible device, while Matebook D and X are laptops. All of these devices will go on sale this summer season, but specific pricing and availability details are yet to be confirmed.
The MateBook E is a 2-in-1 notebook with a screen to body ratio of 84 percent and it is fitted with a 2K display. It is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core i5 or m3 processors.
MateBook D is a laptop and comes with a 15.6-inch 2K display and is equipped with 7th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processors. It also has a Dolby Atmos Surround Sound Technology with speakers designed by Dolby itself and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX Graphics which is optional.
On the other hand, MateBook X is a 13-inch notebook which comes with 2K display and screen to body ratio of 88%. The screen of MateBook X has eye comfort technology and is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass to resist scratches. It is backed by 7th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processors and houses a 41.4 Wh battery.
MateBook X is a fanless laptop which comes with company’s Space Cooling Technology and Microencapsulated Phase Change Material. It also has a fingerprint scanner which is combined with power button itself. You can get this premium device in Rose Gold, Prestige Gold and Space Grey color options.
All MateBook models will start shipping in Summers 2017. The Price for MateBook D, MateBook E, and MateBook X start at 799 Euros, 999 Euros, and 1399 Euros, respectively.
